Israeli Forces Injure, Arrest Palestinian Youth

(MENAFN) Israeli troops opened fire and wounded a Palestinian teenager before taking him into custody during a military incursion in the town of Yamun, located west of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, according to local news outlets.

As reported by a radio, confrontations erupted after Israeli forces entered Yamun, prompting Palestinian youths to hurl stones at the soldiers.

Amid the clashes, one young man was struck by live bullets and sustained injuries.

The account further indicated that Israeli troops barred ambulance personnel from reaching the injured youth, who was subsequently apprehended and transported to an undisclosed destination.

Details regarding his medical condition and current location remain uncertain.

Footage circulated on social media platforms appeared to depict Israeli soldiers positioned near the site where the wounded youth lay, obstructing access for emergency responders.
